New wagon delivered this week....

Been 6 years or so since I've had an AMG, but couldn't resist the new wagon. Had a 540i wagon years ago and loved it. This one is amazing. Obsidian black with the nut brown/carbon fiber interior. Performance seats, ceramic brakes, exhaust, etc. Almost got the black wheels, and glad i didn't. Love the wheels with the black. So far just tinted the windows and wrapped the door handles. Lowered a couple previous MB's myself in the past, and a quick peek tells me I can do the same without much work. Will wait a bit to see who comes up with the best ECU product. Usually takes a bit for a proven, significant HP solution. Anyhow, can't wait to break it in fully and get to know the drift mode.....

Wow, Congrats, looks good. I like it with those wheels, same wheels I got, nice looking wheels and the contrast between them and the all black is kinda nice. I got the Nut Brown int. too, love it. great looking car. Just be careful breaking in the rear end and don't through a lot of torque threw it for the first 1000 miles, Between 1500 miles and the rear end gear oil change at 2000 miles you can go hard on it for the final wear in of the rear end gears before the contaminated metal filing rear end oil is drained out.

Hope to see you on the road soon. The more I see them, the more I'm liking the wagons.

Looks great...love the nut brown interior. Tried to change the interior on my grey selenite wagon order from black to nut brown but was told that it would delay the car 3 more months due to a shortage of material. I'll live with black but am a little bummed.

Very nice! Black exterior - brave man! Are you doing one of those self-healing wraps to keep swirl issues to a minimum? Someone was saying you should go full-wrap if so, or else the contrast becomes pretty noticeable over time with metallic black exteriors.

Love the nut brown w/ carbon, went that way too (grey exterior with black rims and night pkg though). I was watching one review that was saying it's an absurd amount of carbon fiber, looking at your pic 6, I can believe it. Looks awesome though, congrats!

No wrap for now. I’ve had several black cars, a 458, Porsche, etc., and I’m pretty nutty about doing all my own initial correction, sealants, polishes and upkeep. It’s alot, but nothing is better than a perfect black exterior. The brown interior was a risk, but it’s so much better in person. The carbon weave picks up the brown and it looks as if the carbon fiber actually is woven with black and brown. Beautiful.

New to this high end aftermarket improvements. Can you explain or show pics what was meant by” wrapping door handles” ?

Wrapping door handles simply means the door handles which have chrome in them, are wrapped using a black automotive vinyl, thus giving that "all blacked out" look.

I saw a picture of brown wood with brown leather - it was a little TOO brown for my taste.

The carbon fiber or ash + nut brown performance seats really ticks the boxes for me. I think the black ash + brown seats would work as well.
