I started at 5mm and almost no increase in ride height so it must have been close to or on the bump stops. When I raised the car to 10mm I could hear the air going into the suspension and the car raised itself slightly. The ride difference is now night and day better.

I have fitted 21" wheels to my car and fitted some catless downpipes and fitted an Akrapovic exhaust. The ECU has also been tuned. I am getting 523KW (704 HP) at the wheels on the dyno and 960nm torque. I love this car.

The service from the lowering module seller was great, so glad I did not waste money on the Renntech module.
Car looks awesome! Do you have any more pictures and what size/offset wheels you're running?

How is the ride with the lowering? I'm looking to do a very mild lowering, like 10mm on each corner.

BTW, can the ride height be raised above stock height? Thinking about winter time when I'd want more clearance when hitting the slopes.

Hey guys does anyone know if the Ebay lowering module can be set to just operate just one suspension setting [individual] to get even more lift or is it just a one set adjustment covering all settings ?

You can set it any height.. I did 20mm front and 22mm rear.. Haven't tried to lift it. It's really quick and you use the turn wheel in command.
Correction - just reread - it's a blanket setting changing the "normal" ride height... so when I go sport + or race it's super low as my "comfort" mode is 20 / 22 lower than stock.

Yeah that's what I thought, I have it on my lowered wagon and my stock ride height GLC but my idea was to see if I could just go to a single suspension setting and do a quick 2" raise setting above "lift" for dirt roads..

So if you use the module and lower it in normal setting to your new height that's for the C setting? And when you switch to S or S+ suspension setting, then it will lower even further by default? Is there a way to lower it via module, and have it stay the same height regardless of C, S or S+?

The module changes the baseline. So if you set it to -20mm the vehicle will always be -20mm from stock. If you're in S+/race or have it raised it'll be -20mm from whatever height a stock vehicle would be at those settings.

I known on my wagon I've got it in the sweet spot, I was just wondering if it could just focus on one setting. I'd like to just raise my GLC in one setting only for dirt roads.

When I first looked into this device I wanted to be able to lower but keep all the height (or have even more) when raised for dips/steep driveways, etc. Alas, it doesn't. One could plug in the module and set a new baseline but that would take a couple minutes. You can set the baseline higher instead of lower. So you could normally have a -20mm and then change it to +20mm for off road. Obviously there would be alignment considerations.

Exactly, I was just wanting to have more ride height than the stock raise button offers without having to go through the plug and set option each time..
I want the GLC to remain a capable off highway SUV not a wannabe sports coupe..

What is the possibility of a module that allows the opening/closing of all windows using the remote? IE When locked press open 2X within 3 seconds opens all windows & unlocks doors. When open press lock 2x within 3 seconds rolls all windows up and locks doors.

How about closing of windows and roof triggered by the rain sensor?

If someone on here actually gets their ECU tune let me know how it goes. Me personally, I'd never just go with some random tune on Amazon. Especially on a 100k car. Interested in knowing the results though.
Honestly, it's not much different from some of the other tuning companies. They literally just purchase the software from the bigger tunes, reverse it, and then call it their own lol

I received and installed my lowering module yesterday. Such a convenient and easy to use mod.

I definitely need wheel spacers. Anyone running 10mm spacers with a hub centric lip?

Not the same. Say I go to the grocery store. I'm inside for 20mins while the car is outside in 100deg temp with all windows rolled up. It is now a furnace. It would be nice to remotely open all windows as I walk across the parking lot so the interior cools down before I get there. Or I do a quick stop somewhere with the windows down. My quick stop turns out to be longer than I thought. It would be nice to be able to remotely close/lock it up.

Tugboat you can, just hold down the unlock button for a few seconds and all the windows and sunroof will open, hold down the lock button and everything closes up..

Again, not the same. That feature is IR and only works (poorly at that) from a few inches away.

I have a ODB device for my Corvette that does this and it is extremely convenient.

Does the Mercedes Me app offer this ? Or you could walk very very slowly when you get up to the car

The Mercedes Me allows one to start the car remotely but not open the windows. The problem with that is you need to take out your phone, log onto your phone, open the app, log into the app, navigate to the area to start the car, start it, and then wait 10-15 minutes for it to start to cool down. Using the remote it is already near ambient by the time you walk across the lot.

Lowering module works great, but it's kindof a pain to get it out of the OBD2 socket once its in there. Hard to grip and yank out. other than that no complaints.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
It must have been in the high suspension mode in the first photo. That mode is normally used for winter driving controlled by the button on the center console.

I believe lowering makes more camber wear on tires. How about air suspension itself?
Any side effect such as reducing the life time usage of the suspension ?
And if anything goes wrong, will dealer know about the module even you turn it back to factory setting?

thanks for any inputs.
