I have the MBCANSOLUTIONS module from Ebay/amazon and its been great, especially at the $400 price point. The company is very responsive and knowledgeable. I like how easy it is to adjust your ride height directly from your command screen.

eBay module works amazing. Here's mine lowered with 15mm and 12mm spacers.

Sorry for the noobie question but what is a spacer ? I googled it and it seems like they are used to provide distance "between the wheel and the wheel hub assembly." Assuming thats horizontal distance? Why would you need spacers when lowering the car?

Since the wheel well is roughly spherical, lowering it will cause rubbing. Moving the tire outboard will bring it back to the deeper part of the wheel well profile. Of course, that will affect the alignment, so you really need to get adjustable front end components to dial in the steering geometry again.

That makes sense. Thank you!

It's for appearance (brings the face of the wheel closer to flush with the fender). You do not need spacers when lowering your car as the suspension clearances are designed for the original spacing throughout the suspension travel and range of steering.

If you don't install camber adjustable front upper control arms you will just wear the inside 1.5"/sidewall edge of your front tires in a few thousand miles.
This arm was able to bring the negative camber from -2.9 to -1.6 lowered.
Fact but there is only one company I know of that makes this arm, F1 Fabrication.

I keep forgetting to order them. Have to ask for rubber bushings, or do they now come automatically? Thanks.

I asked them for a custom OEM bushing setup and I would hope they make it a standard feature since the urethane bushings suck..

So has anyone used the eBay module without an alignment? I'm just curious, because the stock car already lowers and raises itself. In a kind of double wishbone suspension you wouldn't need to realign, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Just wanted to see if anyone put some miles on without alignment.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
I have the Amazon dongle....and yes..

It's pretty much locked to that car, and yes, it works well. Easy to use, I keep it in my sunglasses holder up top. Recommended. I have
a 63 s wagon and the visual difference alone is worth the price...

I have a way that we can all share dongles, no VIN lock.

Lowered with eBay module, with spacers 15 and 12, without alignment. Used H&Rspacers and getting vibration on steering wheel. Hoping after alignment vibration will go away.

Stock we have the ability to raise it by an inch. With one of these modules say I set it to be 1/2" lower. If I press the raise button does it raise it 1" or does it raise it to the OEM raised height (now 1.5")?

I suggest setting the height back to stock. If the vibration persists remove the spacers on the rear. Still there, try the front. It is possible one of the spacers is bad (surfaces not parallel).

1" The module just fools the system into calculating a new lower front and rear base level, I believe.
