Dyno numbers
Was thinking about a tune and wanted a baseline comparison for the car. The car just seems too fast for 603hp and decided to dyno to see the results. All I can say is WOW.
558 WHP = 696 HP
597 WTQ = 746 TQ
Very underrated from the factory and no wonder these tuners are getting 800 HP and 850 TQ. Will also share post tune numbers.
Also Red is in comfort mode and blue and green are in Sport +

Stout numbers and similar to my pulls... I do think your 25% drivetrain loss estimation is bit too high on these cars. No one really knows the truth there but the 9 speed MCT just doesnt lose that much power to the wheels. If you dyno'd in 2wd you should use a 2wd drive train loss as thats what I have been doing all my dyno life. Id guess these cars are closer to 17% or in that range.

Agreed. I like to be a little more conservative than not. I am tuning on Monday and will provide all with comparison dyno specs. Hoping for a 80 HP and 100 TQ gain to the wheels. I guess we will have to wait and see what the dyno says.
Now only if the snow stopped, we could test for times at the track. Spring can't come soon enough.

Honestly I would give most modern cars 10-15% at the most for loss at the wheels with no difference between auto and manual due to complete lock up of convertor the moment the car starts moving. The rest of the semi auto transmissions are basically manual transmissions with a autonomous way to shift for you (DSG, SMG, etc)

Finally got my car back and here are the results.
If I use the same 20% drivetrain loss as before for comparison. We have 808 HP (Crank) & 917 TQ (Crank). This translates to almost 1200+ NM of torque. I can tell you all this tune is nuts. As fast at the car felt before the tune was a game changer. I have driven many fast cars and can tell you this now feels like it could easily compete with most supercars off the line. I did do some launch starts in slightly wet roads and had almost no spin. I have a feeling with this tune we will easily beat both Weistec and Renntech times. If only I did not live in such a cold climate, would have already been at the track testing. I am going to borrow a buddy's Vbox and will post some times whenever we have a decent enough day to get real numbers.

TorontoE63S18, which gas & octane are you running for the dyno? I just installed my renntech tune but still breaking in and would love to do a dyno after proper breaking into 1000 mile / 1800km.

I recently got a 2015 CLS63s tuned by them and it made 633whp/799wtq with afe air filters, EC catless downpipes and 94 octane pump gas
Before that, a 2014 E63s made 629whp/777wtq with the same mods as the above mentioned CLS63s.
It appears the twin scroll turbos of the new 4.0 biturbo E63s allows for a bit more HP but the larger displacement of the 5.5 biturbo e63s/cls63s made a little more torque. Interesting stuff.

Correct. The Toronto location is a franchise that has made huge headway this side of the border. The team in Toronto is top notch.
