You can easily do it yourself if you don't mind getting a little dirty. Cleaning the wheels up first to ensure a clean surface to apply the coating is the most important and probably the most time consuming, as the actual application process is really simple.

No difference, same product, same process.

If you had a matte PAINT on the VEHICLE, then yes I've seen specific products for Satin Clear coats on the car, but not for wheels, just use the same stuff.

I am looking for 19’s to mount all seasons for winter. It seems like two worlds exist cheap China from Tire Rack etc and really expensive “fancy” rims. I want quality but reasonable price and or OEM. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Nice!! No rubbing? My off-sets are not as aggressive, but I still have occasional rubbing in the front where I can feel wear on my protective film under the front well.

Personally the 21.inch size looks so good vs 20’s in the w213 platform.

I have a question for the wheel experts...what is the maximum offset on the W213 E63s? Stock is 25F/55R, which does not leave alot of room for concavity ( deep dish) in the rear.
I have been messing with various offset calculators, but I wanted the members to chime in with what the largest offset is ( meaning the same size wheels with the smaller # of offset).
There are a couple of potential candidate 20 inch sets, but I don't know what is too far out without rubbing. Has anyone experimented?

I just ordered Vossen's for my wagon - I did got to 21" but Vossen made the recommendation of 21x9.5 15mm front and 21x11 48mm rear. I'm running 275's in the front and 305s in the rear.

for front with 9.5 inch width, your offset of 10 would pretty well be the limit

for rear with 10.5 inch width, your offset of 42 would likely be the limit

that is what I was looking for. If I went to a 10 inch rear would I gain any more? You have a 10.5 with 42.

So the prospect wheels are
20x9 +35 front
20 x10 +32 rear

20x10 et32 could rub. that's more than 23mm extended outward. cannot say for certain.

the front, you are moving the wheel 10mm inward towards the suspension. I don't really prefer it.

The perfect offset would be 20x10 ET 10 front and 20x11 et 52 in the rear. 275/35 front and 305/30 rear.

I have HRE P101 in exact rear spec but et 12 up front and I could go out another 5 mm but et 10 is safe

hey man!

was just wondering if you had any pics of your wheels on the car?

im going aggressive with similar specs to the vossen recommendation you posted (even though you’re not going with those specs), but haven’t seen may wagon setups.

this platform is a lot different than my m3 show car so I want to make sure I don’t have garbage fitment.

thanks in advance for any help or info!

I did the same for my sedan. Ordered the Vossen Evo-4 in a 21 inch in the Gloss Clear.
Front Wheels: 21x10, Offset 12
Rear Wheels: 21x11, Offset 48

My Michelin PS4S's arrived last week, based on their recs.
Front: 265/30/21
Rear: 305/25/21

Hate that I can't put them on until April/May more than likely with these Chicago winters!

How do you like the 21's? Pix?

do you have pics by chance? I’m assuming no seeing as how your tag may indicate you’re in or around Chicago and the weather has been trash. I’m right outside the city. Can you send me a dm?

I'm having some Forged wheels custom made, they recommended doing:

20X10 et 15 Front
and
20x11 et 50 Rear.

Question is, would 20x10 ET 12 be a better/more flush setup? 20x11 ET 50 Rear sounds fine since i plan to run 305s.
