Foot switch in the Max CI 360 powerline
I have run an old-style, high beam foot switch with several 9500ci installs, and now a Max CI 360 install.
I like the switch for two reasons. It gets most of its use when the system’s been chirping a bit too much, while trying to listen to the news or while on a call. Instant relief. The other reason is to cut a laser shift event off as soon as possible, without searching for a small button while trying to maintain a line on the road.
I can just raise my foot a few inches and tap/toggle on or off. It’s almost a lifestyle issue with me. I won’t have an install without it. My installers always look at me funny at first when I hand them the switch that I previously bought. Actually, I’m not sure they ever got it. "Everything is completed and is working well... Oh, and I installed your foot switch.” Maybe I’m too eccentric. LOL!

Do you have any more pics of the install?

Thanks for the comments guys! Here are two more pictures. I cropped one for a close up showing the pigtail connection though it's wrapped in a cloth tape to finish out the installation. I like an installer who prides himself on clean installs.
For a better understanding of what's involved, here is the link to the foot switch and pigtail connector I purchased. Which ever brand you get, make sure to get the "pigtail" connector which makes it easy to wire the switch in the line.
