handheld lowering module

The rip-off from Renntech is that they link the module to the car permanently without any way to move it to another car. People change cars all the time, sometimes even after just a few months. So it's just a brick for any other car.
Plus the programming of the Ebay module is more advanced than the Renntech one.
The only difference I believe is that the Renntech module raises the car at speed to stock height (adjustable) while the Ebay one works more like links. So an alignment may be needed for Ebay one...

On a different note: does it need to be permanently plugged in?

Swipe left/right on the trackpad to change height and press bck or home (don’t recall) to confirm. Crude interface but more advanced than Renntech’s.
I like it better than links because you can change the height in a few seconds permanently plus it’s cheaper than links. Paid $350

Does the raise function still work and, if so, does it raise the car to the same height as stock? I fear it might resist it relative to the current height.

I never took a measurement prior to the installation so I don't have an accurate "before" measurement. I'll measure where it is now once lifted and report back.

Thank you.. but I'm not sure I understand. If you set the car to say 20mm lower (I've no idea if that's reasonable, let's just assume it is), when I press the raise/lower button, does the car raise to the stock raised height and then, when I press the raise/lower button again, does it return to the 20mm lowered setting?

@jdhertz11 - do you drive the car regularly at those heights? I think the roads around me would destroy the suspension if I tried that!
Brings up another question - how do you actually use this module in daily life? Set it once and don't touch it, or set it when you park at one height, and change it when you start to drive (sounds like the Renntech version does this automatically)?
