The only difference I believe is that the Renntech module raises the car at speed to stock height (adjustable) while the Ebay one works more like links. So an alignment may be needed for Ebay one...
I bet if that was a feature people wanted, that guy could write that easily into his code

Now it's time to order spacers. I don't want to be extreme. I plan on daily driving the car and not taking it to Fatlace shows. I have the RTQ wheels. Thoughts?

I received the connector today. Nothing comes up on the display when the ignition is on. Thoughts? Ideas? It also arrived DHL from Canada which is odd because the auction says Belarus!

Mine also arrived today from Canada. In fact, it got here before the car did.

On a different note: does it need to be permanently plugged in?

i got the same module and it’s working fine. I just pressed the start button once for the displays to come on. When inserting the module, the comand screen goes black and says Diagnostics, than after a moment it shows the default height setting.

Swipe left/right on the trackpad to change height and press bck or home (don’t recall) to confirm. Crude interface but more advanced than Renntech’s.

I like it better than links because you can change the height in a few seconds permanently plus it’s cheaper than links. Paid $350

Figured it out now. I'll post pictures in a little while. The low setting is definitely too low at -35

This is set at -35MM front and rear. I don't like the look. Looks like the air ride is broken!

This is set at -20MM front and rear which is most likely where it will stay.

Looks great!
Does the raise function still work and, if so, does it raise the car to the same height as stock? I fear it might resist it relative to the current height.

I never took a measurement prior to the installation so I don't have an accurate "before" measurement. I'll measure where it is now once lifted and report back.

Question - when you do switch modes... Sport or Comfort, is there any change in suspension height or does it always remain at the pre-set?

I set mine to low then back to factory. It returns the car back to stock height...

Thank you.. but I'm not sure I understand. If you set the car to say 20mm lower (I've no idea if that's reasonable, let's just assume it is), when I press the raise/lower button, does the car raise to the stock raised height and then, when I press the raise/lower button again, does it return to the 20mm lowered setting?

@jdhertz11 - do you drive the car regularly at those heights? I think the roads around me would destroy the suspension if I tried that!

Brings up another question - how do you actually use this module in daily life? Set it once and don't touch it, or set it when you park at one height, and change it when you start to drive (sounds like the Renntech version does this automatically)?

My assumption is that this module works the same as the renntech in this regards. Someone will need to confirm. But I know on my Renntech version if you change the settings from sport or comfort it will raise or lower relative to the initial height that you set the baselines at. I haven't measured mine exactly but know the official finger test by checking how the height adjusts between the different driving selections.

Set it, unplug it and forget about it. Keep it in the glove box. I have the Renntech one and wasn't aware of what another poster said that it readjusts the height as you drive. I'm not aware of my car doing that yet wouldn't really know. The ride will be more harsh the lower you set it.

It appears that it is an increase on top of the current programmed height. So it's a lower raised height than before. Make sense?
