handheld lowering module

handheld lowering module
I received my lowering module yesterday, it literally took less than 5 seconds to lower the car and reverting to stock height. I feel the preset lowering height is pretty good as I have about 5 inch ground clearance measure to the lowest point of the car and figured it can easily clear a typical 3 - 4 inch high speed bump.

Curious on who you bought yours through? I bought mine through Renntech for my E43. Cost was a little pricey compared to lowering links. But I wanted the convenience. I came from an S6 with lowering links and had to readjust them when going from my summer to winter wheel/tire setup.
I'm not affiliated with this but a guy on the E300 sedan forum just posted this offering on EBay. It looks just like the renntech module. Probably a copy of some kind but a heck of a deal if it really works.

i did not search much prior to my purchase on my renntech lowering module, but let us know how it goes after you install it. The one negative thing I have to say on the renntech module is it locks into the car VIN once used and I cannot share it with on another MB car.

8th 993 is impressive, feel free to share a picture or two of the 993 side by side with your wagon.

Wow - those cars look amazing! Since we are sharing our P-Cars. Here's my fun spring and summer car. Can't wait to get warmer weather here in Mid Ohio. 2007 997 Turbo (fully built forged engine to a 3.8 Mezger, GT2 Turbos, etc)...

Plus the programming of the Ebay module is more advanced than the Renntech one.
The only difference I believe is that the Renntech module raises the car at speed to stock height (adjustable) while the Ebay one works more like links. So an alignment may be needed for Ebay one...
