I've been looking for UHP tires for my E63S to put on the car when the current tires wear out. Continental DWS 06 is made in the tire size for the front wheels (265/35/R20), but the largest tire currently is 285/30/R20 for the rears. I would like to get the correct size which is 295/30/R20. My alternative is to put on winter tires when the weather starts getting consistently cold and then to purchase a new set of summer tires in the spring. I'm really trying to avoid that hassle.
I could purchase another set of wheels and put the winter tires on those, but the wheels alone are around 1100 each. Suggestions?

I've usually had had two sets of wheels/tires for my cars. I found someone selling OEM for my W212AMG so I got a set for less than half dealer cost.
DWS or Michelin may add this size in the future too. Since the weather is warming up a bit you have a couple of months to wait and see if a UHP all season in stock sizes becomes available.

285/30/20 works too. Very little deviation.

when i was living in the snow zone i used cheap wheels from tire rack with good winter tires for winter season. car was so dirty and it was impossible to drive fast so it worked for me.
At spring time I was replacing wheels to original and enjoyed the drive and clean look.

I would love for Michelin to add the PS AS3+ in our size. They have as much grip as a summer P-Zero but offer all season functionality.
Personally I am not a fan of Continental. Ran them on my wife's C300 and they wore out very quickly and were noisier than the Michelin's.

I hope this happens. The M5 has the exact same sizes so there should be a market. I would even settle for Proxes 4 Plus.Originally Posted by rediesel

All season = Not so great in all seasons
Have a summer tire and a real snow tire . Just swap them out
