good catch. I wouldn’t have thought to look at that. But now that I’ve looked it over a couple of things stand out... brakes are bigger, front tires are wider, and the final drive is different. Plus of course the mass can’t be ignored... I do think it will come down to the driver...

I'm told the E63S ECU detects the fuel octane and adapts. I'm going to assume that's true. And why the hell were we drinking Diet Coke when the others are running on a nice Scotch.... hmphhhh.

There are so many numbers in the wagon test that seem very off.
-The obvious zero to 100mph time (should have been 7.1secs not 8.1)
--How did the Porche catch up to a 0.2 sec difference at the half mile???
-Better yet, how did the Porche close the gap at such a low mph? ((Was the E speed limited?)
