2018 E63S w/ EuroCharged Tune: 0-60mph and 1/8th mile
GPS received tech has improved tremendously over the past few years.
I wouldnt mind getting one of these boxes, but for the time being I’m making do with the track pace app. Mostly I’m not going straight when I get into it

I love it. It's a tiny little black box that mounts magnetically so it happens to stick automatically to the top grille on the E63 dash without any assistance. I leave mine there permanently.
It has no buttons; no on/off switch--you simply pair with it from your phone and load the app. I've used it once or twice a day for about 30 mins each time and it's still at 40% power after 7+ days.
The leaderboard is also good fun.
Accuracy-wise: we compared it to the track timing and speed equipment at PBIR and to the two popular Vbox models and it was within 0.01 of the time and performed similarly for trap speed. Only its 60-ft measurement is questionably accurate.
I have to admit that I have had virtually no chance to ever test the cars 0-60 speed as we got the in time for snow here in Minneapolis. Nothing worst than breaking in a car crawling behind slow drivers in snow
Even last week we had 14" inches of snow but we are finally seeing some normal temps.
I tried a couple of runs and only got 3.27sec to 60. Now this is running on snow tires
Not sure if this is a good number but I look forward to testing more next week with proper rubber...

I haven't really done many launches, but I did do one with the TrackPace software in the car a while back. With two people in the car and going up hill it reported 3.4 s.
The reason I launch so often now is because--and I want to be clear here--with this car, I can; in no other car I've ever owned can I prep for launch so quickly and so effectively. The car will literally (almost) launch in any mode and do so within about a half second of triggering it... no waiting, no tribal ceremony to trigger it. Now, I know some might be concerned about my drivetrain... acknowledged... a risk I'm prepared (until I break it) so take.
Does that sound about right? Tune your E63, get an extra 10% throughout 3rd gear and beyond? That's how my M5 tune was at least. First and second were capped out for traction, and then every gear after felt like a gear lower there on out. 3rd felt like 2nd, 4th felt like 3rd, yada yada.
