except it has lasted.... iroz has had a 1000 hp 2013 ttrs for years now running 9s/145 and the haldex has been bulletproof

this RS3 is about 400 hp less lol so it will have no problem

fwiw the haldex is rated up to 3200 NM or 2360 ft/lbs of trq

Amazing times for tune only 5K pds sedan.
I am shocked on how quick an RS3 can be with relatively speaking easy mods. A 9 sec pocket rocket... Looks like I may have to get acquainted with my Audi dealership

It's very, very quick, agreed. But it's... well... f'ugly. These kind of cars aren't out-and-out dragracing machines, they need to fulfill two roles for most (and certainly for me): daily driver and crazy driver. I do NOT want to daily an RS3.

Sure, get my E63S in the nines and I'm smiling... but not at the expense of everything else that makes it an E-class.

Now if I'm gonna have two cars to address my "needs", sure--an E63S could well be one but, still, the other won't be an RS3.

First-world problems for spoiled brats

just to update this, it's about to be a 8 sec pocket rocket as they just ran 9.01 @ 157 mph

lots of passes of different RS3/TTRS's .... the iroz car starts at 3:35 point of the vid

Anyone see the new rounds of tuning for the F90? +130whp/100wtq out of tune only with zero hardware changes. And that’s on 93 octane not race fuel!

The S63tu version 2.0 really takes well to mods... its similar to the RS7 gains with the 4.0 TFSI. I only have 91 octane so my tune will be circa 100/100 or around there. I run a piggy right now and my buddy on the East coast runs a 129 at 10.8 with a 700 dollar piggy with unfavorable DA. The M5 platform is better suited than the M177 as you know very well for mods

You know I’ve been disappointed with modding AMGs lately and waffling on which way to go for about a year now. Just when I finally commit to finding the right Audi, BMW throws this wrench into my decision. I guess I’ll just keep reminding myself that these are 1st world problems...

There is a JB4 F90 M5 running 10.4 at 135--- and a stock CE F90 running 10.8x at 129 in Canada. Plus a slew of other ones in Europe; its a very fast platform. But I appreciate it for the better cooling it has vs my 2 prior F10 M5's which soaked up bad after several hard runs. The F90 stock is definitely quicker than the RS7 Performance stock and would arguably beat an E63S as well (but much closer than the RS7)

Tune for tune (stage1 and 2) vs the RS7...pretty even? I know once you try to get much past that the RS7’s get held up by IATs so it sounds like the F90 may have the advantage once you get past stage 2 mods.
