I will be selling a barely used set of Michelin Alpin4’s 255/35/19 on Eurotek 02 wheels. They were for my w212 e63s wagon. With tpms and ready to go. These will fit any w212 model, up thru 2016 and or any e series from 2012-2016.
Pm me for details. Located in northern Illinois.
Anyone in Toronto or the GTA who can recommend a good wheel/tire shop that can fit my 2018 e63s wagon with winter wheels/tires?
I went to my local Kal Tire about a month ago...they ordered in a set of wheels and Nokian tires, took the car in and after they put them on, turns out the wheels don't fit. I have now been waiting for almost 3 weeks for an update from them. Kal Tire is blaming the wheel manufacturer...
The MB dealer quoted me over $6K which is ridiculous, so refuse to go to them.
Anyways, we have snow on the ground here with more on the way, would like to get my winter setup sorted asap.

Just get 4 front tires (265/35/20) either pirelli(expensive) or Michelin pa4 (better) and have your local dealer install and road force balance them for you. Cost should be about $2500 +\- installed plus taxes. You can even try getting the tires at KAL or Costco and bring it to Benz for install.

some of the wheel shop does not even look at the offset and thinking it's not a big issue. Two years ago when I picked up my 2018 e63s, I have looked and looked at aftermarket wheels and most of them, esp. the cheapy wheels don't have the necessary offsets to fit the car. I ran out of time (as winter was fast approaching) and had to buy the dealership package but a dealer was willing to discount more than 12% off but still ended up paying over $5,000 for the package.
If time is running out and you cannot find any wheels out there, then the next best options is to get 20" winters.

I did a bit of research ... this wheel may fit but still need an actual test fit to ensure
Got a recommendation for Premier Tire, they put together a package with 19 inch Stance SF03 wheels in gloss black (which should roughly match the car), staggered fit which I really wanted and Nokian tires...bring on the snow.
Will post pics once installed.
Thinking of adding Hella rally lights to the front...has anyone done this? I could really use them for early/late drives in cottage country.
So last year I was intending swapping my 20” set for 19” in the winter. Had been given some awesome advice from @bobblehead but got sick and by the time I was better, it wasn’t worth it.
This year I’ve got lazy and fitted a set of Continental Winter Contact TS 860 S, staggered.
OMG, these tyres are awesome! Much better ride quality, I would now say on par, if not better than the loaner M5 I had. Also, the car feels faster. I know it’s impossible and it’s just a feeling, but my car is Stage 1 tuned and it initially struggles laying down the power with the amount of torque and these tyres definitely seem to grip the surface quicker and launch feels better, especially now it’s about 2 degrees and generally wet all the time here in the UK.
If you drive a lot on snow and ice I would recommend Nokian R2 or Hakkapelitta 8/9 in 255/35/20 and 285/30/20. Sottozero, Alpin, winter contact etc cannot compare on snow and ice.
There’s always a trade off in winter tires. Either you want excellent traction on ice/snow which Nokian is all about or you want performance winter tires that are great in dry roads braking and overall better handling
I have CCBs which limit your aftermarket 19" wheel options so rather than risk destroying my CCBs I decided to stick with 20" wheels for my snows. I was all set-- decided to buy a set of used OEM forged 20" wheels and fitting them with the 20" OEM sized Michelin Alpin PA4s (20"x265x35 front; 20"x295x30 rear). The OEM sized Michelin Alpin PA4s were almost $2k and slightly used OEM forged (non-cross spoked) 20" wheels on Ebay were (best price roughly) $2.8k/$3k--total cost would have been over $4.8-$5k. I ordered the 20" Alpin PA4's but pulled the order when I saw (based on a tip from Bobbllehead) that MB in Canada offers a 19" winter tire package that fits the CCBs. After much digging it turns out that MBUSA was/is running a special on the winter tire package also. The MBUSA package includes 19" forged OEM wheels and Michelin PA4s tires (19X265x40front; 19x295x35) rear. The wheel used for the MBUSA package is a 19" staggered set of the forged wheels available on the E53. I really wanted 19" for my snows (better ride quality better traction in the snow). I also didn't want to go the aftermarket route with the wrong offset and using spacers etc. MBUSA is offering $150 discount on the package thru Nov 30 which brought my total to a little over $3K. I am not thrilled with the look of the E53 wheel (see pics after install yesterday) but it isn't too bad and you cant beat the price--also great knowing that MB confirms fitment on the E63s with CCBs.
Major bonus-- with the higher profile tires and 19" wheels the car rides almost like a standard E Class--none of the harshness of the Michelin 20". PS4s.. Car with this wheel tire package is in a way a lot more fun to drive---without the same stellar traction of the PS4s the car is easier to rotate and move around with the throttle.

That's a great price I think. I was shopping around and my dealer could get them onto my car for $4500. I ended up getting a set of the MB oem package for e63 thru Germany on ebay, but after $600 shipping was still at $4k. & will put them on myself. Pretty sure it's the same wheel, but with some black.
