2019 E63S Sedan Sailing. Anybody Else?

For example: Marine Tracking
A few years ago, you could enter your VIN on the shipping company and get the ship name, but that has changed.

Almost, for sure, not the same vessel. The ship with mine was a straight sail from EU to US without stop in Halifax. Dealer can pull up the name of the ship your vehicle is laden aboard and you can find a lot of websites to track.

As per 2019 hold-ups, my SA showed me his arriving inventory list: there are a few 2019 Mercedes (various models) sitting port side with VPC status; but then there are a few 2019s about to make their way to the dealer.

Yes agree with you then; definitely not same vessel. And yes, I have tracked previous ordered cars in the past - I used FleetMon. This time around, just having my SA do it for me.

When we see the photos/reports of the first 2019s in owners' hands, we will know.

Congrats on the updates. Sounds great. May I ask which dealer youve been dealing with? Im in TO as well and have been working with MB Brampton. Not an E63 but awaiting a vehicle as well which was listed as completed built on 6/20.

I recall seeing a 2019 C43 AMG coupe as one of the vehicles with a VPC status, on Roger's list.

Awesome. Thanks! Good to know. Ive not met Roger before but will reach out to my SA to find out any updates. He was away on vacation the last week and a half.
Btw, w the 2019s any concern of the vehicle being held at port "until being regulated by Canadian gov" - there was a big youtube video last year - Maximusblack -2018 C63s, which got released to him in July and had to be given back and held by the dealer till August after which it was "redelivered."
Im hoping we can get delivery in July/Aug and there are no issues.

As I said, their supply chain makes no sense. Why it would take that long to install a peel and glue on piece of carbon fiber and delivery about 50 miles to dealer makes no sense to me. Euro Motors should have sold 2019 E63S models arriving on the same ship as mine.I would hope you are accommodated for this excess wait.
I knew that this car would be at the end of the 2018's, but at the time, I did not want to have to get back in line for a 2019.

The carbon fiber spoiler is out of stock apparently. Euro tried to have the automobile released to them, but they would not release it from the VPC. The anticipated release was last week, and so I paid for the vehicle in full already. I will be out of town for a few weeks and am unsure of the potential tariff changes. For that reason, we tried to have the auto released, and had paid for it.

Long-time lurker but got word today that my 2019 has joined you on Florida Highway so I better get involved in the conversations!
First Merc and AMG, coming from a long love affair with BMW most recently a M4, looking forward to a change! Just hope the car doesn't sit at VPC for a while...

Just got word from my SA - car is showing "still on boat" status, expected to arrive at the port today. BUT it also just got tagged for a service campaign. He is not sure about details or duration yet; will let me know when there is another update - safe to assume will sit at VPC for a while.

Just spoke to my SA today also. My car is on the ship and arrives in Halifax end of the mo.
Is there any pricing released for you for your vehicle - MB Canada?
My SA still didnt have pricing info and said he wasnt sure when cars would be released to dealers.
Delivery date still listed as Sept 20 despite car being in Halifax end of the month...
Thanks man and congrats on the updates!

Did your cars sail out if Bremerhaven? If so can you pinpoint the dock. I’m trying to guess which boat is coming to pick my car up.

Information I got only shows it left Southampton, not sure if that was just a stop before heading across the Atlantic or not. This is my first custom order/vehicle tracking experience so I'm not much help.

I would not be surprised if the scheduled delivery date of July 26th does not happen. Reading the forums here, it is safe to assume there will be a lengthy delay, one which has already begun with the service campaign tagging.
Might have missed this but when did you place your order?

I placed my order on May 4th.
Build - June 20th.
Sched to arrive in Halifax July 20th.
Delivery on order date was listed as : Sept 20.
Apparently could be a wait for emissions testing and vehicles being regulated for Canada.
Sorry, I am new to this all and the ordering process. What does VPC status mean? Also, what do you mean by service campaign tagging?
Thanks and sorry again for the questions.
