Not at all. It's normal and he's seen it on every car. Some cars (especially AMG) get more scrutiny than others. After they're built, they're sometimes held for additional checks before being released to the logistics group. Or, they're just held in general until they can be transported.

No. He's trying to not set unrealistic expectations which I appreciate. Speaking as a former corporate employee for another German auto group, I don't see anything on paper or otherwise that would indicate a valid reason for a hold beyond MBUSA. It's plausible they want existing inventory to diminish and new inventory to be available before they authorize the start of sales.

You should have it by late Dec hopefully... no chance end of Nov...being built Nov 20th.. probably wont even leave Europe until 1st week of Dec... maybe if it was a GLE coupe and not a GLC coupe

ON a ship right now, the Figaro Track It Off the coast of Europe now.. eta to port is 11/16 .. Should get released hopefully soon after... The CLS53's are getting released so I assume the E53's will also ( imho)

I was just told on the phone, about 30 minutes ago, by my dealer GM that E53 have just been released. Still no 63. Meh
