New to Mercedes/AMG-Questions about E63 interior trim
Hello all!
As the title states, im very new to Mercedes as a brand and AMG in specific. I plan on switching to AMG from M due to some issues im having with BMW, also im looking at buying an E63S which doesnt have the optional carbon fiber interior trim. Is it possible to buy the carbon interior trim and replace the existing pinstripe trim? Also does this void the warranty, coming from BMW I know things like this are allowed.

Haven’t seen or heard of anyone in this forum has changed theirs. I don’t think there are any aftermarket resellers that have this cf trims. I guess you can ask your local dealers to see how much the parts are and if you want dealer to install, it willl at least have the warranty but it’s going to be very expensive to do this.

Possible but a PITA and probably pretty expensive. Are you buying from a dealer? Maybe they'll swap it out to move the car. If you swap the interior they will probably not warranty the trim unless you buy and install from dealer but the rest of the warranty is fine of course.

Adding CF interior trim wouldn’t void warranty or all those whom added front lips, rear diffuser, trunk spoiler or carbon mirrors would be in trouble. If you did something to the engine, exhaust is another story.

Not long ago I looked up the cost of the carbon fiber trim. The total was about $4500 for the 7 pieces (and that's based on European pricing from the place I buy from). If you ordered from a US dealer, expect that price to go up to $6000+.
