I would be pretty annoyed with that, but I can understand why the law forces deposits to be refundable. I've ordered 2 AMGs and never asked to pay a deposit on either one, even my C which was my first "nice" car.

Yeah if you're going to buy a new car, you should definitely order it (unless time is critical). There's no downside to it.
