I just realized I'm looking for a car off of the same ship that isn't showing at the VPC yet.
Not sure what that means. I saw my ship dock at the Baltimore VPC for 2 days and now it's in open waters heading to Portsmouth. Did the ship not already finish docking and offloading and maybe the computers arent update?

Those ships have thousands of cars on them. I don't believe that until it is physically scanned will it show an update in Netstar.
MBUSA really needs to keep up with the competition and offer the customer a bit more insight to the current status of ordered vehicles. BMW and Porsche both offer really great ways to stay informed without relying solely on a SA's help. Luckily for us, CincyMBGuy has been a big help but maybe this should be something MBUSA considers being that it seems Pre Sold vehicles are the norm nowadays.

Lucky for you guys, I don't have a lot to do other than wait on ordered cars to come off of trucks and ships. Most of my day is spent tracking things on Netstar in this market.

And we are eternally grateful for your assistance!
Nothing yet. Not much is accomplished at the VPC on weekends.
So Cincy, you're able to see on Netstar when a vehicle gets loaded onto a truck? My car was supposed to have been trucked from Baltimore to Boston last Friday, but it hasn't happened yet.

Sort of. Typically, when a car is loaded onto a truck is the same time that it will also show as wholesaled to the dealership.
I feel ya! I thought my car was going Baltimore last Friday, but it stayed on the ship to Brunswick, GA and unloaded Monday. Got an email it cleared VPC and was released to carrier on Tuesday. Sure I will just get a call sometime between today and a week from now that it is at the dealer and the wait will be over. Definitely a bit frustrating following it.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you were VPC delayed on the 16th. That probably means you're missing a part of some sort.
Pretty sure it cleared VPC as it was supposed to arrive at dealer last Friday. I think it's the truck driver shortage. At any rate, it's been torture every step of the way!
The most awesome text came this morning "Your car is officially showing up in our inventory today - it is probably already on a truck and might be ready for you by Saturday". Could it be real or is this a "pre-april fools day" joke

Wholesaled to your dealership this morning but not on a truck yet. Rarely will they wholesale the car if it's not just about to be snagged from the VPC. Just a couple more days!

Good luck. My car was released carrier on 3/22 at the Brunswick VPC. Still waiting for delivery. Know it won't be too long, but still want it now. Luckily not convertible weather with rain in Charlotte right now.

Timing is perfect since I just came back from a trip to find a giant crack on my trade in's windshield that won't be replaced until Friday. I'm hoping to pick my car up by Saturday since I don't want to wait until next Tuesday (work trip Monday).
