My production date was just moved yesterday from 4/11 to 5/11. Is this generally a good sign that they waited until 4/26 to reschedule to 5/11 (only 2 weeks away)? Or is it typical to move a month at a time?

That's really a toss up. It could happen again or you'll be good to go. I don't think I've seen a production schedule shoved way back on the calendar.

What has the average amount of time the cars sit at the port before they get transported to the dealership or is it all over the place? Mine just got dropped off at Brunswick GA on Saturday.

It's a big toss up. I've had cars leave the VPC within the week and others that have taken months. I wish I had a more reassuring, concrete answer for you.

I'm hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. If I don't get my car by the end of June, I need to look for other options. I can't transport kids around in my Z4.

A question I see from decoding your VIN is the invoice price.
Pretty decent difference between list and invoice compared to what I was looking at with a Bronco Wildtrack.
Does anyone know if that is a typical invoice/retail difference for Mercedes?
