Hello folks,
Can some one help me lookup the latest status of VIN W1N0G8DB1NV379406
The dealer says the car is made but waiting for ship assignment. Its been like this for over a month. I was wondering if you should shed some more light on the delay ... does it have retrofit credits ?

No idea why it's stopped at Dundalk port, which is adjacent to Baltimore port. It was not scheduled to stop there. Hoping it's unloading. anyone have any experience with Dundalk?

I've been trying to prove to myself I could sleuth which ship my car would be traveling on.
Nope.
I had my eye on Arc Defender and Don Carlos (both Wallenis ships).
Both are now anchored offshore of Bremerhaven.

You have a PO number? You can easily track your build all the way to the VPC-
Once your car is built in Germany, it goes to Bremerhaven to get loaded. MB uses Wallenius Wilhelmsen to ship to the US

On the tracking page, under cargo info, select "Cust Ref Num" and then in the box to the right, paste your PO number in, just the numbers-
It will say either "no record yet" or will pop up a page with the shipping info that includes name of the ship and dates for the itinerary. Once it gets to the VPC in the US, and is unloaded , the status will be updated, then start bugging your dealer for VPC status. Then you have to wait for it to be shipped to your dealer.
It took 4 days after my car was loaded and the ship sailed form Germany before the data base was updated and I got the shipping info, so check it until you get a hit-
Same company will also ship BMW's on these shipments, and in my case, my ship went to the BMW side of the harbor in Baltimore and didn't go over to the MB pier/VPC until after that, so further local delay! Luckily I am 30 miles from Baltimore, so my car came quick once released from the VPC-
