Hi all,
I'm not really comfortable posting my VIN just yet, but I had a few questions regarding a car I ordered. The dealership has not been much help. I ordered this car in Oct of 2022 with an estimated build date of Jan 2023. From what I can tell and from what the dealership has told me, the car is done being built but it is waiting for a ship. Can anyone here help me figure this out? My last lease has just ended and I have no car, so I've just been Ubering around. They offered to extend my lease, but I don't want to pay on the old car, I just want to new one!
Status: Purchase Order Created
Secondary Status: Allocated (Without end customer)
Decade Planned: 23/-1-2
Production Date: 1/16/2023
Factory Status: FINALINSPTN
Original Prod Decade: 22/10-3
Dealer ETA: 12/29/9999
VPC: 32 - Los Angeles
The last few events were all "Prepare for Delivery" and then "Remove Freeze Date" repeated over and over.
EDIT: I do have a seemingly valid VIN, but I'm not sure I have a PO#, at least not one I can see from the pictures I have that the salesperson took.

I'm not sure if this page is still being looked at, but I put my VIN into https://mb.vin and it showed the details of my build, including a delivery date.
What exactly is the delivery date? To the port?
My car is scheduled to be on a '5/28 boat', according to the dealer, but the delivery date shows as 4/30. So assuming that's port delivery?
I went to https://www.walleniuswilhelmsen.com / Track & Trace / CUST REF NUMBER and searched by VIN, Order # and Production #, the latter two listed on the MB VIN page, and all came back with NO RESULT.
Possible this isn't showing up because the boat is too far out? Or am I just using the wrong numbers?
Any thoughts?
