Thanks @CincyMBGuy is it possible for you to paste a screenshot of what Netstar shows for my car. Just curious to see the dates of the status items up until today.
From a detail standpoint, I hope I can get my salesman to keep an eye on things, but so far he seems totally disinterested and doing as little as he can. I can barely get him to return my emails :-( and most of his replies include something about getting an extended warranty and a ceramic coating.
Thanks again for your help!

Thanks so much @CincyMBGuy Any idea what those events mean? It looks like there is something going on today, which I am wondering if that is due to me talking to the sales manager yesterday. He said he was going to talk to the regions general manager to see what is going on with my car.

It hasn't been checked into the VPC yet. A one day in and out isn't going to happen, especially right now. Transportation issues are huge and many cars are sitting there even once cleared to ship for 3-4 weeks.

So my dealer called and said my 2022 E53 is in transit. He said it's "on the water" I hope he meant it's on a ship on the water, lol. He also said once it gets to port in the US it has to go through Customs and EPA testing? If they have to test every car that comes in for pollution controls this could take a Looooooooong Freaking time. But it's way better than my original estimate of having it show up in the Spring.

Hi @CincyMBGuy Hope you had a great wedding! If you have the time can you pull the latest Nestar update for W1K6G6DB4PA168254? The sales manager said he has been talking to distribution and I was wondering if anything has changed. Thanks again and there is no hurry, especially if you're not back from your wedding/honeymoon fun.

There is a priority update on 9/21 which I would assume was when your sales manager dealt with distribution. No changes since then.

I would like to ask you more details about Netstar since you are experienced with it.
My car was built on September 12, I am wondering if by built it means car is 100% ready and just waiting for inspection / delivery. Or there can be a case where the car is built but actually not because some parts are missing such as sound system.
Because the logistic status of my car is "Produced - Pending Factory Outage (3)" and it has been like this since September 12. I suspect by factory outage they meant my car is actually built but some components are missing and that is why it is pending (or it can be the case that the factory stopped production because of power outage or something but this doesnt make sense). I asked my SA he is not sure but he believes that status means "the car is built and just waiting in the factory for transport to the port, and it is the biggest backlog because delays for trains..." which does not seem to make sense to me and he mentions that every car goes through this same status at some point (I never seen this before based on my research, I wonder if you have seen it).
I asked my SA why it's still the same logistic status, he said Mercedes does not update it daily, weekly, or even bi-weekly. I wonder if this is the case? I thought it gets updated everyday...
Thank you for your help! Cheers
