Could anyone give me a rough timeline of when they think my car could get delivered per experience or knowledge? I have a build in at my local dealership (8/2021) and they said at the time April 2022. With house things are look I’m still 3rd in line for an actual build slot. My current E53 took about 6-7 months. But with all the shortages and delays wondering what realistically the time like would be.

Thanks for the response @CincyMBGuy ! It’s been an experience, to say the least. Ordered in July for a September delivery, contacted by the SA in August stating they pushed it to January. On a positive note, they said they’d honor the MSRP and will not include any market adjustment. Thanks gain, I appreciate your response!

I did talk to Dean. He said that it was assigned vessel on 27december. Patriot. But he doesn’t see any tracking and was waiting to hear back from MB.

Thanks for the quick response. Can you help me understand what that means? The dealer told me the car has been sitting at the VPC since 12/15. Is that not the case? The PO for that VIN is: 0270576404

What they told you is correct. I should have clarified that better. It was released for transport from the VPC to your dealer yesterday. That could be a day or over a week depending on the transportation logistics. Truckers have been on short supply to move vehicles as of late.
