Head unit data port for Video
At AMG performance driving school this week, a senior MB USA exec said there was a port on the head unit in the new E class that will feed data to an after market video recorder. I would like to install a dash cam, and plug it into the head unit to be able to simultaneously record and overlay the vehicle data on the recorded video. Does anyone know of a video camera unit that will connect to the head unit in the E213?

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
The only problem I'd think you'd have to leave the head unit on all the time and I know they do time out and turn off automatically to avoid killing the battery. Maybe someone more qualified than me can chime in on this subject. Sounds like a good idea in theory, maybe there is something I don't know.
