There is a vent inside the cabin to relieve the pressure when the doors are slammed. They showed us that during the factor tour. Pretty cool.
My car has soft close doors and I really like it. We raised our kids not to slam doors harder than necessary, but it still took a bit of time to adjust between my Jeep and F-250, both of which require a bit of a shove to close. The Jeep mostly because it's still pretty tight even after almost 10 years, the F-250 just because the doors are pretty heavy.
The nice part about the soft close doors are that you don't end up with any half closed doors. As long as you get it to just the first little notch, it will pull it the rest of the way in. That way I'm never having to pull up and park and close a door after dropping kids off at school when they've run off leaving me with a half closed door
If anybody here has the paid subscription to one of those worldwide marine traffic web sites, could he kindly look up current position of the Orion Highway ship?

I can check your VIN and tell you where the car is because all the data shows that Orion Highway arrived at VPC

i really can't see the use of the soft close doors the way they are currently implemented. you have to place the door near the closed position for the system to pull them up. might as just "slam" the door the usual way than thinking "did i close it or not?". most people will close the doors by using some force or just slamming them so it voids the purpose... what would really work is an hydraulic system that simply stops the door from closing when it is thrown and then gently closes it.
lovely! that's obsidian black right?
i opted to keep the chromes. but is similar to yours. can't stand the waiting... fortunately it seems on track for delivery in December.
funny, you guys in the US seem to not really like chromes. most of you black them out.
Oh wait a second. Do you mean the ship has arrived, and the ETA of the vehicle is 11/27?
No. ETA is when the ship arrives at the VPC.
Step1. It takes 1-2 days for processing, Step 2, release to carrier, Step 3, loaded on the truck and from that depends how far are you from VPC.
