The tape would have helped me in Arkansas. Several chips in the splitter, plus a chip down to the metal on the hood. Nasty trucks who drive side by side on the I-40 or whatever it was going through there.
Then of course there was the rock from nowhere (overpass probably) that took out my windshield.

I think I figured out the real reason for the delay in deliveries: the factory did not have nearly enough Magno paint, as they were predicting producing these cars in more than one color.
Drive is going great! In Little Rock tonight and will be back in Dallas tomorrow...and ready to mess around with launch control. Was able to do some DIY paint protection in a Home Depot parking lot. Spacers should be waiting for me and my actual PPF is scheduled for Tuesday.

That'd be great, thank you.. I spoke with distribution on Wed about the E53 sedans.. they said the E53’s are expected to launch early Dec.
I figured with month end being yesterday, taht I wouldn't hear anything until early next week.. fingers crossed they get released next week. I find it odd since CLS53's are here (basically same car), and the E53 coupes are here
Picked up mine today from Shahul and Steve in Germantown. Another gray magno to add to everyone elses But man is this paint beautiful in person. Pics I’ve seen don’t do it justice. Already have about 250 miles on her. Will switch to all seasons this week. Very happy.

Also I an swapping out the summer tires for Michelin PS AS 3's. I also ordered the new 20" wheel design (i believe style RTZ). Does anyone know if they are the same size as the E43 20" wheels? I would like to order them asap.

I am looking forward to getting my car, I just got my VIN number today and my car is gonna be built 2nd decade. Hopefully it does not get pushed back and I can get my car at the end of January/ start of February. Can I use my Mercedes benz of America $500 discount and my AMG Lounge $500 together or no?
