2020 Configurator (W213 Wagon)
Is the Akrapovic exhaust no longer an option from the factory? I'm not seeing it on the configurator anymore. (I'm located in the US).
I had a build saved in the '19 configurator which was no longer compatible, so I spec'd a '20 and didn't see many of the accessories that were previously offered. I'm planning on putting in an order in the next month or so.

Akrapovic makes amazing titanium aftermarket exhausts. They cost $10k+, and you can buy one for your E63s. Interesting this is, a couple of years ago, you could option an Audi S7/RS7 with a factory-installed Akrapovic exhaust for $9,900, which is hilarious if you’re leasing tbh.

I just read his whole reply as Flula. It helps tremendously. YouTube the guy if you don’t know who he is, you’ll get a kick out of it.

So I don’t think Akrapovic exhaust was the performance exhaust offered from AMG. It was simply an “AMG performance exhaust” which I believe is now standard equipment in the US.

As you (properly) assumed, I was referring to the AMG Performance system. So this is now standard equipment for US models? I noticed a number of former options became standard for MY 20 as well.

I'm a dummy. Not sure why I thought it was Akrapovic. I've had Akra on my last 2 bikes, and my old AMG, I guess my mind was locked in to what's familiar to it.
