Which website did you source your non-S exhaust tips from?
I bought them directly from Mercedes Benz in Germany at https://originalteile.mercedes-benz.de/ — please note that they do not ship outside of Germany. Since I still have family there, it was easy for me to provide a shipping address.
What you might be able to do is source the GLE63 exhaust tips here in the US — they look similar to me, but I can’t speak to how they actually attach. If you have a good relationship with your dealer/parts department, I’m sure they’d be able to figure it out for you.
P.S. the part numbers for the ones I purchased are:
A2134904100 left
A2134904200 right
These part numbers (above) are for the black finish as seen on my car. If you want chrome, the part numbers (below) are:
A2134903100 left
A2134903200 right
(I only know this because I had to trial and error the part numbers, and erroneously ordered one chrome and one black the first time around.)
I had my stock tips removed & replaced for warranty reason and the dealer had to do that
Not true. We managed to squeeze them through *very* carefully. There is a seam in the valance just below the opening for the tips which has a little bit of play in it. So it is possible to exchange the tips without bumper removal.
That said, if you’d rather play it safe the bumper needs to come off. I should also state that I am not responsible if you attempt it and crack your valance.
