Time for tuning

Funny that. Me too.
I was curious about what octane fuel you had available.
If trying to compare, apples and apples, which tune gives the best performance, keep in mind which octane the quoted numbers are using. We have to suffer from the ****ty 91 octane here and most sites quote 93 octane results.
There's plenty of tunes out there
Renntech
Weistec
DME
Eurocharged
AMR Performance
etc
(Haven't heard of Syked ECU before)
I chose to go with Weistec as they're california based and tune their offerings to our local fuel. I also had their products in my last E63 and was really happy with how it turned out. Oh and I was adding all of their other offerings at the same time.

On my w212E63, I had Kevin provide the sixth and last ECU file for that car. After his tune, the car was a complete animal from a dig or roll...consistently ran 10.9 at close to 130 w/ meth/water injection, regardless of Florida temps. He will be dyno tuning my w213e63 next week here in Florida. I do recommend him, as he's easy to work with, a really good guy, and clearly is good at what he does. Mo, with DME, is also a super good guy, and provides top tunes for many cars...my w213e63 has his stage 3 file, and cars runs great, fast, and have not had an issue.
When I first tuned my w213, it was with a Weistec file, which was also great. And I enjoy working with them as well.
Previous car had Eucrocharged files, Renntech files, and ended with Kevin's file....all good experiences. Not yet worked with AMR, but continue to hear good things.
Figure out what's most important to you (octane, location, aggressiveness, etc) and try one. The two you originally mentioned will both make you smile.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I recommend http://www.oetuning.com
Most likely will not squeeze anywhere near the last drop of power out of your engine (probably more on the conservative/safe side)... but it was $1,400 out the door for me and I did it from the comfort of my own home. It was dope not having to talk to anybody/go anywhere.
I had a problem with misfiring and Jeremy called me personally and fixed it. I was beyond impressed.
