Morning MB world,

Just wondering if anyone did the software update and had any issues. My software update actually started with a thin horizontal line in the right side cluster. I took it to the dealer ship and it took them 22 days to get it done. They told me it took them that long because of new software, i just had the car back last night everything is good but now my park assist wont work. It shows parking spots but it wont let me confirm, not that i really care about this feature but it just bothering me so, i was thinking to ask you guys if anyone had a issue like this?

 

I had recent software update but only for the tranny and touchless door handle via fob key, I left others as is, even for map update (since everything is working fine).

What are they on dial up 300kbs?

 

i know it was crazy, i regret it big time. Honestly i like the update though because now in the vehicle information cluster they got rid of that information display thing in menu. Now you you can can select the right side and scroll up and down to see all the different options, which is much better and quicker but now i have to deal with different issue

What kind of tranny update?

 

Service Advisor said MB tends to have periodic software update on tranny to ensure the algorithm for the gear shifting is as smooth as possible (that would be my 2nd update since I have the car .. 14 months on the road)
