Pilot Sport 4s or Super sports ?
I need to take my winters off and my original Pirelli's I threw out they were shot . So I am thinking the 4s? All I care about is dry and wet performance. Sorry but dont care about noise or ride they dont mean anything to me just performance.
Also on the 4s there is the Mercedes coded and non coded. Looks like the non Mercedes coded have a wider front tread width. I am thinking this might help dial of some understeer. Anyone try these?
opinions are appreciated

If you only care about performance, skip both of those tires, and grab some r888rs. Night and day difference in accelerating, handling, braking, all of it...you seem to have some other perf cars, so if you've not tried these before, just do it. Noise isn't that bad, especially if you have modded your car in any way; also, the ride is just fine...much smoother than my 4s on my 21s.

Ralcbah thanks for reply
R888rs - stink in the rain ? Dont see them in our size either. Thought about Sport Cup2 but they arent so great in heavy rain. I figured 4s gives me best overall in both dry and wet?
Thanks John for reply

I agree, a friend of mine have the r888r on his R8 and in the rain he doesnt take his R8 out because it does get sketchy at times. I have the 4s on my e63 an they are amazing. Weather in NY has been extremely cold when I took delivery and they performed really well in the cold/rain.

only get R888r's if you track the car.. they still make supersports. The Ps4 is a great tire.. oddly I think the SS's are better for track use over the PS4's as people have reporting less life and some splitting after a few track days.
