E53 and CLS53 Tuning

No remap, no piggyback, nothing. Not even an aftermarket exhaust option or downpipes.
Can anybody chime in? If the presence of an electric motor interfering or making tuning excessively difficult/complicated?

Would make sense I guess since they the same amount of torque but the 53 is 200lbs heavier, which offsets its hp advantage in the quarter mile but also mitigates its weight disadvantage with its electric motor.

super weird... that's a rough database of pretty much (to some degree) an exhaustive list of stock/tune maps available
i really expected to see e43/e53 software numbers in there, but i don't
you probably can't do this because there is no clearly defined tool/way of doing this, but if you can insert an OBD-II tool into your port (something like this https://kkuchera.github.io/canalyze/) and issue a UDS `startExtendedDiagnosticSession` request followed by a `readDataByIdentifier 0xF121` (which is the software number) request, you'll get back something like `177904010017790293001779033601`
from there I could help you google what your software numbers are (and it is usually linked back to ECU type, ECU processor type, whether it is cracked, etc.)
another option is:
https://www.ebay.com/p/2014-MERCEDES...27094692&rt=nc
that is what i'm lookign for basically. if you can find the mercedes part number, either physically on your vehicle (should be on top of engine pay with engine cover off but that might just be for v8, they could hide it elsewhere in engine bay for e53 model) or on a parts diagram online, then i can trace back (maybe) with some googling what mind of ECU it is, if the protection is cracked, who offers tunes
or you could just like, message a tuner here and be like "got any e53 tunes? why/why not?" my approach is just more complicated :P

I used the googles to lookup posts from other enthusiasts about this and their experience with RaceChip. Does not sound promising:
"caused excessive knocking. Destroyed my engine when my car was 15 months old."
"Hello everyone,
So I have had a little more time to toy with this. I filled up 93 today to see if this makes any difference. I honestly have to say that I can not see any perceivable difference."
"I installed the ultimate racechip professionally and I didn't feel any noticeable differences. I tested it with an identical m5 (But stock) and there was absolutely no power difference. I spoke to the support and addressed my concerns and they seem to think it's either a. A problem with the installation or B. A fault with the device."

I could do it, but it's like a sea of data happening at a fast pace. Lots of hours need to be put in understand what data/parameter identifier maps to what given what formula.
It's neat but... it's weird to think that a device in an OBD port is a) reading data from the ECU then b) trying to trick the ECU that the data it thinks is correct, is not correct... (aka resulting in more boost/fuel/timing/whatever)
