Door handles
So i really want to black out my door handles. I talked to a couple vinyl guys but decided i didnt want anyone removing the door panel and ending up with rattles and squeaks. Really dont want to use plastidip. Cant seem to find any covers either. Open to any suggestions or if someone knows of covers that fit the E class, id appreciate it.

Same here, mine door handles were wrapped with no removal. Trunk lid chrome trim was wrapped too with no removal. Just find another, more professional shop.

Door handles do not need to be removed to wrap them. Also, I want to say most door handles can be removed on newer cars without even having to remove the door panels.
Door handles can be tricky to wrap and price will vary depending on how many door handles you have (coupe vs sedan, etc). Prices can also vary from location to location, but $300 for 4 door handles does seem slightly on the higher end. However, if they are your only options in the area, there isn't much other choice out there.

Same here. No need to remove and I paid $300 to black out my door handles, window trim, roof rails and rear end unibrow with gloss black vinyl. It may have been a little underbid. The shop was not happy with how long it took to do the roof rails.

Thanks for the insight. Hes charged be 200 to blackout the chrome strip on the trunk, the horizontal pieces of the grill and add some matt chrome highlights to the vertical parts of the grill. Ill talk to him again about the handles. He had to order a different film for the horizontal sections of the grill so it goes back in next week. Ill send some pics when its done. Also getting the side and rear windows tinted to 25. Windows were 350. Those are getting done the week after by the guys who did my xpel stealth wrap.

Blackout
I had mine done along with all of the night package items (I purchased a preowned car that didn’t have that box checked), rear unibrow and rear roof section and spoiler. It was a bit more expensive, but I went with a really reputable shop and it came out perfectly (and has a 3 year guarantee). I’m in NYC, so take it with a grain of salt. I also had the front clip, rocker panels and rear bumper covered with XPEL so it wall all priced together. From what I recall, the quote for just the blackout work was around $1,200. It takes a lot of time to get it right (about 2 weeks) but worth the wait.

And yes definitely black out the exhaust tip. I got the E43 night package tips installed black looks way better than the chrome.

Had it done at illmatic Wraps in Hackensack (10 minutes over the GWB). The owner DJ did great work and they have some very high end cars...
