2019 E63 Break-in period HP restriction
I was told to hold off plugging in my Renntech ECU Tune until after the car has 1000 miles because during the first 1000 miles the HP is restricted anyway. Does anyone know if this is true?

There have been multiple reports of launch control being restricted. Not sure if the boost is turned down or not.
From some anecdotal reports from folks of favor a more aggressive break-in routine, it doesn't sound like they noticed any change in performance between sub 1000 mile operation and post 1000 mile operation.
I can't say personally, as I followed the breaking-in instructions pretty closely. Since I took delivery of the car in Germany I chose to consider break-in completed at 1500 km rather than 1000 miles. Mercedes engineers may be great at unit conversions, but their manual writers, not so much . . .
