Hey guys I am new too the forum but have been lurking for a while. This forum was pretty helpful in learning about models before I took home the 53. I was debating between cls53, e53 and the E450. Narrowed it down to the eclass preety quickly. I felt the E53 was quite, smooth and had much better performance than the 450. Did not hurt that I scored a insane dealer from my dealership with paying 89k CDN with 0.0 financing for the E53.
Previous notables I have owned would be a hellcat and a gle. This car though is by far the best. Handles insane and goes with no hestiation and the 4matic with the 440 hp seems faster than the hellcat was (obiously is not though).On the highway in long drives I average 8.4 l/100 km. The cabin is very nice I can only imagine how owning a S-class would be. I need and like a quite cabin these days as I have some PTSD around certain noises. This car certainly gives me that comfort. Real sense of pride and comfort owning this beauty.

That price does sound very good. Is that drive-out - after all taxes and fees? What is that in US dollars, 'cause I thought I got a good deal?
Mine was stickered at ~ $83K before taxes, etc. Dunno about financing though, if I remember correctly I think they first offered 4.9%, told them sorry don't feel like bickering over finance, I'll just send you a bank draft. Which they happily accepted, btw
I did finally get 10% off sticker though, and I was happy enough with that. Did make them throw in the window tinting though.

The rims are 19" and it rides pretty smooth I will say but when i need to replace the rubber I will run non run flats to try that out. No that was not tax included but the tax I paid was very low as I had a trade in worth 52k which had tax savings for this one and in CDN currency. 4.9% was what they offered dam that is high are you up North as well? Your car sounds mint enjoy your ride too!
I am down in Texas. I see what you mean about the low tax since you had a good trade-in. I didn't bother to trade in my old 2002 C-Coupe because it wasn't worth anything according to KBB. But it still had value for me since I bought it new and it still has only ~70K miles on it.
