Connect the two (CAN high + CAN low), plug the device into your laptop + car, look online for a UDS flasher (hint hint hint, I know a guy who wrote one as free open source software), tune a map you can get for $99 from any WinOLS reseller online.
All you need is the seed/key algorithm for the UDS SecurityAccess request for the MED1775 ECU.
Bam, $99 tune by reputable company who tune tons and tons of German cars at high volume, not $2k tune.

I am installing my DP myself next week which is super easy to do. Than I am going to labworx for my tune. I had a few friends go to them and they did a great job on their cars.

How are you going to get your car on a lift and "weld" cut the stock downpipes?

Luckily I own a gas station with a few friends and it has its own shop, so I will take it and do it myself on the weekend when the shop is closed. I am pretty good with welding and stuff since I used to be a FFA Aircraft tech.

How was the car after the tune? My friend just got his M5 tuned and he was just amazed on how good it turned out.
