I recently ordered (May 1st) E53 sedan. It's getting built in the next few days. In the 2020 model year, I am seeing this AMG drive unit, which I didn't notice in the 2019 model year. Wondering if this is new or I missed it altogether.
I have the 2019 AMG E53 Cabriolet, and don't have the controls on my steering wheel like that, though there is so much duplication, I suspect I could set up a way to adjust those items using the little thumb pads . The main selectors for performance settings on the 2019 models are on the center console.
It is same (U88) option as can be ordered for MY20 S63. Take notice: this can not be combined with heated steering wheel.
There might be upgrade possibility (for newer cars), but this requires new steering wheel as I understood from my dealer.
