Hello, there is no power difference that I'm aware of, the difference is in the Night Black Magno paint and the yellow stitching as well as the black steering wheel (alcantera) and the "Edition 1" on the bottom brace. Plus they are usually fully optioned. I believe that 213 sedans were exported to the U.S. as Ed 1s and only three wagons which I have one. Strangely, the three wagons are all optioned differently as opposed to the sedans which are all the same. Hope this helps a bit.

I'd say they are reasonably well optioned, but not fully optioned.
Sadly they were also built before the mid year updates so they don't have the track pace app and the led lighting refresh.

A quick search will bring up all info, pros/cons. E634Me points out the only (and minor IMO) disadvantage of the ED1. Based on the build dates, it really is a 2017 yet it was only released from VPC in Nov 17. MY was always 2018 for official launch but all models before August? 17 have some older hardware modules that can't be upgraded. Car only came in one flavor at around $135K.
Night Black Magno is a standout color and was exclusive to the ED1. It is well sped'd but was missing a couple of options. The one I would have liked was the Alcantara headliner

Sorry to the OP I don't mean to hijack your thread and for the slightly misleading info but..... E634Me, what's peculiar is that my wagon has a build date of 04/18 (door jamb "passenger car 056 04/18") and it does have the track pace app plus "LED Intelligent Light System." It also has the designo Black DINAMICA Headliner. Is this the lighting refresh that you mentioned?

No. The update that happened some time after July-ish 2017 added more colors to the interior LED lighting system and some multi-color transition combinations.
The LED intelligent headlight system is something different. One could argue that we in the US who paid for intelligent lighting system did not receive fully functional intelligent headlight systems. Instead, our systems suffered brain damage when imported to the US in order to comply with the current US headlight rules. I'm hopeful that one day these will be updated and a simple procedure will restore the full functionality of the headlights. Think Flowers for Algernon but with a happy ending

I looked on the Mercedes build site and the Grey Selenite Magno is offered at $3950 but the Night Black Magno is not. So a dealership doing a custom order can get this color?
