Quote: From what I know, GAD were the first who had a solution.

Honestly I don't have personal experience with Edok, but I know a story (true) about them and that I will not do any business with them.

GAD-Motors are the best!
i agree. since there is no "do it yourself flashing" solution available, not a lot of people on the forums are a) willing to tune their cars b) willing to pay $6.5k c) willing to remove ECU + CPCNG + TCU and fly them over to germany and wait a few weeks

i do not know anybody in america with true stage 2 e63s amg. no dragy, 60-130 pulls, no quarter mile, nothing unchartered territory. it's crazy that this forum has "a lot of members" yet nobody is biting on these tunes

Quote: say i bite on $2k downpipes + $6.5k in tunes, what kind of real world gains are we talking? how much real (not dyno queen) power gains over stock, how much time improvement?

i'm guessing like 100whp/100lbft gains and maybe 0.7s faster in the quarter mile? what does our car run now? like 11.1s stock @ 128mph? with CPCNG tune, maybe 10.3s?
Making a downpipe is a lot easier than avoiding complicated tuning protection.

You know what i mean if you have skills in programming.

eh, i think from a "law of economics" standpoint, they are pretty similar

somebody had to 3d scan some downpipes then get the metal fabricated somewhere in china. lay out $10k-$20k for 20-30 sets, sell them for some ok markup

software: somebody had to pay an engineer to find tricore biootloader exploit/get some leaked files or signature keys. probably $10k-$20k, and now they are making their investment back $2.5k at a time. hard work up front, then resell for profit.

what is super interesting to me is how nobody on these forums except one guy in canada (meeru) is interested in paying $2.5k for this cpcng flash.

You dont know about downpipes and less more about control modules.
So like i said, who is really searching for fast stage 1, he find it.

but you’re an internet tough guy
you’re a ****** and you know it deep down
You know Mrki63 personally? I know him. I can assure you he IS a tough guy. I bet you will **** your pants, when you drive with him flat out in his 223 MPH GT Mercedes from GAD-Motors.He has driven it flat out on the German Autobahn and has proof for this... This is even faster than my 209MPH with my SL65 by night on the Autobahn.

great speeds but you don’t need to be a tough guy to drive those speeds on an autobahn! Try doing 211Mph on a dual carriageway in uk! Being a tough guy helps when you punch someone’s face in! Now doing 200mph + on a bike you need some *****🤠💪🏻💥
I need my cpc done for Vmax but no one here has figured it out! Sending or driving to Germany isn’t an option for me so until someone has a better option I’ll sit and wait! I feel the need the need for speed 😷

Driving over 200 MPH on a open road with traffic is always DANGEROUS and you risk your life, you need skills and guts. Anything can happen, also in a car not only bike. In the end is nearly the same.Tires, curves, animals at night, traffic. Every straight now gets into a curve you must look 1 kilometer in the front. Dont tell its different. I assume you never experienced it.

I don't make it anymore because of my new born daughter. Think about it....

Not at all surprised, this is what i fully expected!
great times!

GAD has been doing this for a long time,
they have the tools and resources to properly tune our AMG’s. And of course their hard work and effort comes with a price that is absolutely reasonable for their effort.

You need the full combination of tuning access and modules on the w213, ecu, tcu, cpc, if you want to have real world power, speed, and reliability.

These are all limitations on the street you wont see on a dyno, and it shows, as the OP has show and stated.

Any tuner without access to the tcu and cpc is just playing tricks inside the ecu to get more power down in the real world but this will cause harm to the trans.

Proper ecu, tcu, and cpc, tuned, working together in harmony, as seen here, will give you consistent, reliable, real world power, without limitations.

What do you get from name calling and talking **** on the forums, childish as hell. If everyone was really interested in fully stage 2 tuning their car you guys would be working together on doing it.

My 2 cents on this matter, I would not deal with tuning cpc until these "tunes" are tested on actual runs and tested over a period of time to see how the components handle these things. Hopefully these big tuning companies can figure it out, not worth stripping everything off my car to get it tuned for 7K.
