Exhaust Valves, Throttle
Hi,
My E63s has a downpipe and its tuned, apparently when you install a downpipe on these cars the exhaust flap bends and when the motor tries to open and close the flaps it gives an error because the valves aren't moving because they are stucked and then it sends a code to the ECU that makes the car's throttle to close, My car is very slow now because of this, Any idea on how to fix it without buying a new exhaust system?

So First they fixed the valve, car was like usual but eventually it bend again
Opened the valves manually and welded them open and removed the spring from the motor = no difference
Finally, pulled the valves out and reinstalled the spring on the motor and everything is fine now, The only boomer is that the exhaust is always open and loud

i installed catless downpipes on my E63s and it sounds so much more aggressive and louder but not too Obnoxious. And I’m currently having issues with my car regarding the valves causing my car to lose power. I just order the RENNtech valve module so let’s see what happens

I have heard the AWE valve simulators work well also. When I tune and DP i'll probably be going that route. From what I understand the problem isn't the valves themselves it's the actuators of the valves that fail after opening and closing etc.
