E63 AMG Wagon Vs Sedan
Hi everyone,
Decide the put an order for a new E- class AMG and was wondering if the wagon is more comfortable than a sedan or they are both the same? I like the wagon and think it is more balanced as far as the dimensions; however, my wife will be driving this car sometimes and being less stiff by keeping the AMG as the option is her priority. Have you guys experienced better ride quality in the wagon? Thanks for sharing.

I chose the wagon also. It has a tiny bit more headroom than the sedan. The rear space makes going to the hardware store or golf course easy. Regarding the ride quality, it can be harsh over sharp jolts (train tracks and road imperfections) but otherwise, it isn’t too bad. It’s a firm ride, but totally ok.

luxury and performance at the same time.
May break the bank and go with S63!

From what I have read, MB softened up the ride a little bit with the 2021 refresh. Not sure how much, but apparently they did take some of the harshness out of it.
We also have an S550, and while not the same as the S63, I find it too large to have fun driving. I find it too isolated, but that’s probably just the non-AMG model

I sat in my friends wagon and didnt really notice a difference. The one big area that really made a huge difference was the had he had the normal seats and I have the performance seats on my sedan. I played around with tire pressure and noticed a better ride quality when I reduced the tire pressure down to 34-36psi.
