Unlocking the full functions of the multi-beam LED headlights

Hopefully an E43
When using this mod, is there any way a dealer can see that this has been done? I know that you can disable the mod before taking it into the dealer, but is there any trace left? I've read that with ECU tunes, even after rolling back the changes a dealer can see that changes have been made and can essentially blacklist your car.

Once you've used it, you'll NEED it. It's incredible to have the high beams on in traffic and be able to see 3 to 4 cars ahead.
Best example is coming down my street behind a car, then having that car turn into a driveway with a curtain of light opening 1 foot behind it.

I ordered mine... I was tempted for the other package he has for raising HP to 680hp and unlocking top speed, but then I realized my car has "never" even hit trip digits. Uh, well, the Factory Delivery car did on das Autobahn, of course.

I ordered on Friday, it got here Sunday and I installed yesterday. I was so eager to see it in action the kids and I drove just around dusk looking for dark roads. I could see it in action, but really need some dark roads... VT in a couple weeks will be good.

I received mine Monday. Took a while to clear customs and make its way to me.
Followed the instructions and the upgrade looked like it installed OK, however, when I started the car several error messages popped up on the left side of the driver side console. Stopped and restarted the car a few times and did a short test drive but they remained. So I followed the instructions to revert the car to stock. This cleared the active error messages which were:
Traffic Sign Assist Inoperative
Active Brake Assist Functions Limited
Adaptive Highbeam Assist Inoperative
Next step was to email Vladimir. He responded quickly and requested that I send the log file from the micro-SD car. The next day he sent new firmware to be loaded onto the SD card and I retried the installation.
Again the installation seemed to go just fine, but this time I didn't get any error messages - yay! Last night I took the car for a test drive and saw the intelligent LEDs activate as they're supposed to and creating cut outs of light for the oncoming cars and the cars in front of me.
Great support from Vladimir with quick turnaround. Happy with the upgrade.

seems kind of strange to me while most had no issue at all with the install and some of you encountered this kind of obstacle/inconvenience .... assuming the software coding should all be universal, I think.

My install went smoothly, but I did notice at least one "headlight" error message on the dash after doing the update (but before "rebooting" the car). I just ignored it and turned off the car, locked doors, etc. When I restarted the car, it was gone.

Vladimir did say that he didn't see anything unusual in my log file. Not sure what, if anything was changed in the new version of firmware he sent.
It might have even been that if I ran the install again that all would have been fine.
But I did want to point out that Vladimir was great to work with and very responsive.

I’ve had multiple cars attempt to update modules multiple times while in service before, just seems like sometimes they don’t “take” the first try. Happens more often with Land Rover products but the wagon took two tries with the latest TSB.

we discovered that he had sent the wrong file by mistake.... I still haven't driven it in the dark yet... will be heading upstate tonight and will see then.
