Have any of you experienced when opening your tailgate, that it doesn't stop at your preset on rare occasions?

Mine has always stopped where I set it, but it is so close to where my garage door is when open, that I cringe every time I open the tailgate. It stops within an inch of hitting the garage door...guess I just need to trust it!

Jesus... I didn't even know we could change the stop point. Soon I will need to replace the original swing doors to a lift door on the garage, so I too will need to pay attention to this.

Thanks for the replies. Mine has hit the garage door hardware when the opened door was overhead twice since April. Got two nice chips to show for it already.

Our order came in during shutdown, when all the PPF shops were closed, and then I never got around to it. I'm really good at tempting fate.
