I have a nail in my brand new set of PSS tires (100 miles old) and my car didn't come with an owners manual.
Can anyone help me find where the rear jack point is so I can get a jack stand near the rear tire? Does it look like the other 4 jack points near each of the tires?

Thank you!
It is in front of the rear wheel.

Reason: style
Thank you, I found those jacking points! but is there a 3rd jacking point in the rear? Ex: So you could lift up the rear with a floor jack and place 2 jack stands on the jack mounting pads in front of the rear wheels

These are the only jacking points shown in the manual, AFAIK there is no 3rd point in the rear (and I've never seen any car with such a jacking point...).
Whenever changing tire I like to have a jack stand in place in case jack fails (last year my floor jack dropped an SUV). If it had a rear jack point I can jack up the car and place jack stands under the 2 other jack points near the wheels. It also make changing to winters easier - since you're only jacking up twice instead of four.
If the W213 only has 4 points I don't think I can use jack stands securely (or safely with my skill level at least).
I'd like to bring just the tire to the shop and not the whole car. That means it would be sitting in my garage with just the jack holding a car with 3 wheels for the day.

I see, it makes sense. How about if you put jack stands under the rotors?
i used to do that for fail safe and worked fine for me.
@6G Schnell Yeah I think that's my only option (or at least some part of the suspension). Or if I can find the pinch weld @Mhoughland mentioned (but I didn't see a pinch weld, will take another look)
@mbsl550.19 Those would give me a piece of mind for sure, there are a bunch of other jacks w/built in stands and similar universal solutions.
Hi T,
On W212 there is 1 more lifting point at middle of front sub-frame ( under engine ), W213 should be the same I think.
For rear single point lifting, DO NOT be tempted to use the differential casing.
I do not reccomend the rear to be lifted using a single point.
Whenever I lift up all 4 wheels for my W212 using the QuickJack, the common green hydraulic jacks ( I use 2 ) are just a safety back up for front and back or sometime I use 2 jack stands for rear and 1 hydraulic jack for front.
Get wheel chokes please, if you lift only 1 to 3 wheels. Place choke behind and in front of wheel/s touching the ground. I use 4 chokes, me scared of earthquake.
Be safe....

Didn't know anybody else made a jack like that. Who else makes something like that? It worked
so well on my Porsche. As a matter of fact the jackpoint jackstands have a Mercedes Benz adapter.

Reviving this thread to see if anyone knows of a center jack point in the rear of the W213.

Hi S,
I have W213, and plan to change oil for rear diff. I wish to see how can I put 2 jack stands for the rear jack points without lifting the car from rear other than the 2 side jacking points. I saw some mentioned about the rear subframe instead of the rear diff as lifting point. I hope you can give me some idea. Thank you.
I would use two hydraulic jacks, one at DIFF and one at the side jack pad where its not yet using Jack Stand and you can place Jack Stand later at the other side where hydraulic jack is.
This way the DIFF does not take full load.
Just becareful, depending on Jack Stand support shape, those Y or U shaped one is not really good to use on MB plastic jack pad.
You have to really properly place it.

This one is made of Nylon 66. Do not buy the rubber one.
Stay safe under the car
Hi S,
Really appreciate your very detailed instructions. Share the load with two Jacks and put the Jack stand up, with the Nylon 66 adators. I will get the jack stand adpators.
Do not lift anything you think would slip. Do not lift a control arm, brake rotor or differential or anything that is smooth. Use the jacking points with the pads or the frame rails. We have pads underneath the front of the car on some models but I don't want to teach people to do this in case they have odd driveways.
You only have one life, it's not worth it. If you don't like metal on metal start buying hockey pucks.
