ECU + CPC + TCU done
Finally was able to have the whole combo dialled in. Was not able to test it on the streets as yet, due to my first child being born, priorities shifted! For now, the 850awhp / 850awtq feels very different, my PS4S keep spinning on 3rd and 4th which makes me think, time to change tire setup now if this car is truly being able to push the power down. I have TTH900 upgraded turbos.
However, friend of mine has the same setup as me + meth (He has Pure1000 turbos), he was able to test on dragy:

850whp with just tunes? that sounds very high.
i was just talking to this guy on instagram. he has turbos + meth + that run was on race gas.
are you saying you have your turbos done as well? 10.2s for all of the mods he has done kind of sucks in my opinion. he's hoping to break into 9.9s and lower with a better tune

a lot of people may seem disheartened by the numbers this car puts out. Honestly at this moment, if there are stage 2 cars hitting low 10s or 9s for a fact, I would be the first one to be happy for them. I got into this platform early before any of this CPC TCU stuff came out. I’m at a point of no return. Not looking for validation, just sharing my story
i can guarantee you once i am done installing them, my car won't make 860whp. i'm estimating that with a stage 1 tune it'll go from ~560whp stock to probably ~620whp tuned. maybe the CPC helps a bit but i don't think it unlocks another 240whp. the engine can only make so much ignition timing and move so much air. this is where my data logger comes into play:
https://datazap.me/u/muffinflavored/...og=0&data=6-27
i can literally see how much air the engine is moving, i know the engine's size, and from there you can calculate the volumetric efficiency of the engine. from there, you can calculate horsepower and torque and account for drivetrain loss. if you OBD log your car on the dyno and show me the car requesting 1300nm of torque (850ftlb at the wheels to newton meters * 1.14 for drivetrain loss), i'll believe you.
a dyno pull is almost worthless in my opinion at this point.
so it isn't about validation
it's about, you are believing something that isn't true
unless that car has downpipes + turbos, 860whp is unrealistic.
not trying to argue with you, trying to help show you with facts + science + math where your car most likely is.

well, i have a flashed CPC_NG on my desk to install and i have a good stage 1 tune as well from a respectable person

My apologies if I have misled anyone, I have always mentioned my mods from the beginning, so I assumed people knew.
Anyhows, I’ll mention it again:
TTH 900 turbos
Downpipes
Akrapovic Ti Exhaust
Weistec VTA
Hardware wise, that’s it
————————-
Software wise, I cannot argue with you there because I am just a consumer at the end of the day. All I know is, with the same hardware, I ran 10.6 - 10.7 @ 132 mph all year long dyno’d at 800whp in 2019.
If I see a difference into the low 10s this year, I will be inclined to believe that the CPC + TCU combo definitely works, until then.. I am just speculating as much as anyone else.

oh sh*t
downpipes + turbos, makes way more sense. i'll shut up now.
nice man. i love seeing these cars pushed like this
what made you go for 900 turbos instead of 1000? obviously a couple of bucks/whatever but were you worried about breaking anything?
so CPC + TCU unlocked an extra 60whp with the same hardware. how does the butt dyno feel? does the car feel faster?
what was your 100-200km/h when you were at 800whp in 2019?

Turbosystems had one out too, but untested for obvious reasons = no test car.
Butt dyno suggests I am fishtailing in an AWD car with 5k KMS old PS4S tires.. especially in 3rd gear WOT.
I was 6.1 100-200 in 2019.
I am 5.3 100-200 after the CPC + TCU.
My launch is now set at 4300, GAD and Morendi are setting theirs up at 5000rpm but most of their cars have upgraded transmission.
I would love to keep this car as long as possible.
My only concern right now is, weather is 30C everyday here, when I had a chance to do a few pulls, the IAT would exceed 50C before I even complete a 60-130mph... will definitely wait for cooler weather to test further!

i am working to find one last identifier to my logger, it is called Drosselklappenwinkel in german, translating to Throttle angle
i'm lead to believe it measures the throttle body valves, and this is the only way to measure if the CPC or TCU are torque limiting (aka they request the body to pull throttle (NOT the same as throttle pedal)). i used to swear and repeat and tell others it was between gears where the CPC did torque limiting but i have worked with tuners in america who told me that is wrong. you can observe it at like... 4tth gear wide open throttle if you have a stock CPC. i believe that's what i was told.

wow... that is massive. did your tuner fix/change your ECU tune as well in the mean time?
6.1s - 5.3s = 0.8s faster with *JUST* CPC + TCU flash? nothing else? no hardware/other changes?

lol wow look at your IAT. Well the 0.8 deduction should hopefully help you on your end as well. Best of luck, I’m pretty confident you’re gonna show us impressive numbers!
There were revisions made to the ECU to adapt to the CPC. What they were, unfortunately that is information as a consumer I don’t possess neither do I ask my tuner for.
The TCU just increases the shift points between gears, however the downside of this could be, when going WOT, the car being 9 speed, you really have to engage the paddles to safely let it hit redline.
I am considering an airbox intake once I have more data, also considering upgrading the cooling by upgrading intercoolers and heat exchangers. Add some meth with the nozzles directed purposefully... then I should be okay for year round WOT.

Now a low 10 second 4600lb car is no longer impressive??? SMH...
To OP, that is AWESOME times! 10.2 in a ~4700lb family sedan on regular factory street tires is downright insanely impressive!!! Hopefully, your car can do the same, cos that is crazy fast!

glad to hear. i need to bite the bullet and not be a p*ssy and just do mine. did they drop your trans or cut into your stock ones? how much did you pay for labor?

Warranty is not an issue here, as long as I don’t b*tch about drivetrain issues, I’m good.
I have a spare full block in storage anyways.

Thank you for your kind wishes, once time allows me in September, I shall see what this car is capable of, and then hopefully provide this forum the data they deserve.
