2021 E63S Wagon cargo mat

I want to add a cargo mat for my wagon. Any idea if the cargo area is the same as for that of 2020? The MB accessory catalog has two listed: Deep cargo and Cargo. I've no idea what that means for dimensions.

For sure you need to confirm, but I really doubt that anything has changed wrt the dimensions in the back for 2021. The "deep" one looks really deep indeed:

I have the shallow one in my 2020 wagon. My experience: the fit is not 100%, particularly at the back where the are some notches in the cargo area that are not "faithfully reproduced" in the mat. The other thing that I found is that, due to the flat cargo floor the back lip is subject to wear. I often sit in the back of the cargo area to change footwear before/after a workout. This bends the back lip each time, and it has already started to crack at the bottom. But despite these issues, if you use your cargo area like it's meant to be used ( ) then it's worth getting the mat.

Thanks. I see that "deep" is not a length, but height. I'm going to look at the Weathertech option as well.

For the length part of the equation, here's what I did:
1) Buy a flat rubber cargo mat of appropriate size.
2) Trim to fit to that so it covers the seat backs when they are folded down.
When the seats are up, it just sits in the back.

Mat covering/protection the carpeting on the back seat.

"Storage" location when the back seats are up.
