Quote: I am turning in my car next month. The dealer is buying
but you can takeover the lease if you want
I think the rest of the term is till july 2022 , which give you a little over a year to try the car
pm me if interested
Thanks for the offer but I am going to stay the course as my car is being built in a few weeks. Hope you enjoy the 911.

I found a lease wholesaler who is willing to play ball in New York.

Quote:
126,160 sticker
$1908/mo
$6,000 out for first month and fees only
36months
10k miles
now that's a lease offer. they said if i build a custom one for $126k too they'll match the price, and if the offer gets better by the time the car arrives, they'll match it. all too good to be true if you ask me.

Quote: I am sure BMW is still less but no longer zero. Everything used to be included up to 50k except getting new tires. Certain things are still free up to 36k. I had to pay for my brake pads full around 14k. Like $500? I don't remember. But definitely not zero anymore.
i can confirm. my 2014 M5 had everything covered. driveshaft (snapped), clutches, etc.

2016 M6, they changed it. you need to buy maintenance upfront in the lease or else you are on the hook for pads + rotors.

2018 E63s. dealer does not cover pads/rotors/those kinds of things.

My M5 that I ordered is definitely free maintenance for the lease duration. Not sure on brakes. I will check. No matter as I got the CCB and they will not need anything for my 36/10k lease. Fwiw, my AMG brakes are fine and my lease is up in May. I don’t track the car.

BMW stopped covering brakes couple of years ago , but you can add it by buying the ultimate care package which is around 800 dollars , which to me is worth it and I have it on my car

M5 and E63S are so close to each other that choosing either is just a matter of personal taste or like.
When a lease is in play though, the choice becomes more straightforward, simply since the BMW has such competitive rates, a no brainer for anyone who cares about keeping extra few hundred dollars per month in their pocket.
I got a call from my MB/BMW dealer offering an allocation for an M5 CS (at full MSRP, about $140k plus).
It has everything standard, including CCBs and I expect the lease payment to be comfortably lower then on a bare naked (zero options) E63S.
March production, April delivery (I hope), decided to go ahead.
Cancelled my Lucid Air, got cold feet with their lack of any facilities in Chicago, no leases yet and difficulties with trading in my current daily.

I got a quote for a 141,000 M5 build and it came in at $1575.00 a month. Unbelievable the prices they are willing to lease at. (My E63S will be about $850 more a month). I got it thru a guy out of Maryland that has a website set up. You give him the build code and he sends back a fully itemized quote. Pretty straight forward. I am sticking with my first choice which is the AMG as that is what I really want.

wow that is a bigger monthly difference than I thought
theoretically you can get a nice weekend car like a 718 boxter on top of the M5 for the same monthly money
but the E63 S is a great car , I am sure you will enjoy it

I got a '19 w213 126k w/ 4% off, my lease was $2087/mo for 36/15k and no money down except first payment - also gotta add taxes to that payment more like $2200. Thought it was a pretty good deal but you definitely can't compare these leases to BMW. It doesn't help the depreciation on these vehicles is incredibly steep! My w213 is due to be turned in November of this year, I only put 18k miles on it and I am just now coming to break even point on the lease, lol, still actually underwater by a few grand.

My 122k 2018 is about $1560 a month, nothing down, NJ tax, 36/10 lease. I got about 8.5% off the car. The 10 MSD payments knocked about $300 a month off of the lease payments. Everyone should use them with MB since it really improves the MF. Don’t know why they are not discussed more. If you can afford to drive an AMG, you should have the 10MSD amount to invest. Best risk free return out there!

When my car comes in I will look at the MSD's.
