Motor Trend isn't the most rigorous tester, but they were clear that the E63 trounces the Avant for handling and ride.
From everything I have read, it sounds like they softened up the suspension quite a bit for 2021.

I would love to get the RS6 Avant... for my wife! 
Odd that the figure-8 test was the same for the two given the power and handling prowesses for the AMG over the RS6.

I love the way the RS6 looks but that's about it. Performance just isn't there and I believe Audi's in general are overpriced.

I'll be keeping my E63s for the canyons, a nice grey Audi RS6 wagon looked very pretty in my rear view the other day until it disappeared

The only thing the RS6 has going for it is looks. It's stunning.

I think the Audi’s looks will not age well. It looks like it is trying too hard. Of course, I’m biased.
