I've had my 2019 E63S for two weeks and the heated door panels have only worked one time. The seats, armrests and center console have worked flawlessly every single time.
The one time I got the door panels to heat, I went into the menu, unchecked the selection boxes for both sides, rechecked both boxes and they magically started working.
I have repeated this process dozens of times since then and it has not worked. Thoughts? Thank you.
Maybe this is similar to the other odd gremlins like Auto folding mirrors not folding, reversing mirror not tilting down, etc.
try to uncheck all the boxes
exit menu
turn car off, get out and lock the car
then wait 10 mins., get back in and go to the menu to recheck all the boxes

Tried that three times today with between 10 and 45 minute waits...still no go. Guess this is item #1 for the first trip to the dealer.

What do you mean by "door panels"? You say the armrests get warm, and I assume you mean the armrests on the doors, so what else are you expecting to get warm? I've never heard of the door panel being heated as well.

They do. Mide did it once but that's it. It's the leather area just above the door-mounted armrest. See description below.
I had the drivers armrest heater replaced twice under warranty. It’s now stopped working a third time out of warranty. I give up unless someone knows a simple fix.
