Weird Thrumming Sound

Hello all,
So I've noticed this sound at above 80 mph and it seems to get louder in the cabin as speed increases especially on an uphill road. The sound is, as stated in the title, a constant thrumming and almost drowns out the radio. I don't notice this at lower speeds though. I'm taking the car in next week for its annual maintenance and the over-the-air update for recall #21V058 and this issue too. Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this and if so what the fix is.

Exhaust leak? Wheel bearings?
I've never heard anyone use the word "thrumming" before. Did you happen to record a video of the sound?

No I didn't. It almost sounds like bad U Joints but the car only has about 8500 miles on it. Maybe tires but it seems early for the Mischelin tires though.

8500 miles before tires needs to be replaced is not necessary unheard of depending on how you drive the car. Look underneath the car/tires and see if the steel belt can be seen especially on the inner tires.

When taking your car into for service, ask for the shop foreman to take α drive with you while you drive to reduplicate the sound, either shop foreman or tech are not allow to test drive your vehicle outside of the speed limit for liability reasons so you will have to drive the car while the shop foreman is sitting next to you.

Good luck on fixing the issue.

Any update on this after you took the car in for service?

Yes. Apparently there was a slightly loose cover underneath the car that was vibrating at speed. The service techs checked everything else (had it in for the three year/30k service) and found nothing else wrong with it. I need to visit that road in Mexico to ensure that all is well though. But no issues on the freeway, etc.
